26th October Lagos Nigeria.
This summit is an invitation-only event and a gathering of hundreds of “thoughtful, like-minded individuals with similar goals and determined doers” from around the world, who share a common interest in practical solutions for sustainable development through global innovation and partnerships.
The summit focuses exclusively on creating avenues that generate sustainable income and wealth through global partnerships, innovation and sound investments. Our vision for this year’s summit is to create a platform for the engagement of global Institutional investors for Infrastructure development as catalyst for economic growth.
Why Infrastructure development? The World Economic Forum estimates that the annual global deficit in infrastructure spending is $1trillion and Nigeria makes a significant proportion of that. An optimistic assessments estimate that Nigeria will have inadequate fiscal resources and public saving to meets these needs. It is therefore critical that Nigeria leverages on private financing opportunities for infrastructure development from global institutional investors through Public Private Partnerships (PPP).
Furthermore, the infrastructure financing gap remains a critical global challenge for sustainable development and economic growth in developing countries. New thinking and innovative financial models are needed in order to mobilize more private capital to infrastructure investment.
The summit will provide a platform where stakeholders; investors, asset managers private and government personnel interact, network and acquaint themselves.
